Eat, Pray, Enjoy

Would you like to HELP a WORTHY CAUSE and ENJOY doing it?   Do you like to EAT, hear a good SPEAKER, share a few LAUGHS with friends, or meet new FRIENDS?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, try JACK’s PACK.  

Each dinner features a 4-course meal plus a speaker on various topics ranging from sports, local history, our county, our government, and OUR FAITH. Speakers have ranged from sports figures Lanny Frattare, Greg Brown, Tom Donahoe, and Jim O’Brien to local historians Steve Russell and Trip Cline to elected officials Gene Vittone and Larry Maggi to Linda Ritzer, Kathy Miller, and Father John Marcucci.  The speakers have discussed topics as varied as the dinner menu. Each dinner also has a designated charitable purpose. The local food bank, Madonna Catholic, and the Bishop’s Project for the Maguire home are just a few of the many beneficiaries the dinners have HELPED,    

Dinners happen eight times per year at 6 p.m. in Marion Hall in Charleroi.  The cost is $15, and proceeds will benefit the Special Olympics through the Knights of Columbus charities.
